What is Prohfilo?

Profhilo is a pure Hyaluronic Gel injection which stimulates 4 different types of collagen and elastin. The results last up to 6-9 months.

HA is hydrophilic, which means it draws and holds water from your body, so Profhilo acts as a hydrator rather than a filler. This effect takes place within 3-5 days of treatment.

Two treatments are recommended to get maximum results. The treatments are spaced 4-5 weeks apart. The maximum effect of Profhilo is usually seen 2 months after the second treatment.

WHAT DOES PROFHILO INVOLVE?

• 
  PROFHILO comes in a 2 ml syringe, the treatment takes approximately 20 minutes.

  FOR FACE TREATMENTS – one ml is injected into 5 injection points on each side of your face. Profhilo is injected just below the skin’s surface. After injection it disperses quickly beneath the skin to improve hydration.

  Profhilo is absorbed within a 2 cm radius of its injection site. There is no bruising, swelling or downtime.

  You may have some redness at the injection sites for a few hours.

  FOR NECK TREATMENTS-two mls are injected into your neck, targeting the areas where the skin is the thinnest and where you have the most lines.

  Treatment takes 20 minutes. Allow 24 hours downtime for neck treatments.

  Because your neck skin is so thin & delicate- you will have raised areas at each injection site on your neck. This is actually the Profhilo starting its work. It spreads out like honey under your skin over a few hours and the marks will be gone overnight.

  You might get a tiny bruise at one or two of the injection sites which can be easily covered with concealer.

  HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?

  The results should last up to 6-12 months depending on your metabolism.

  A single course of PROFHILO  involves 2 injectable treatments 4 weeks apart, after which you can expect to see an intense hydration. It makes the skin glow, fine lines can disappear and you’ll notice smoother, tighter skin.

  Courses of two treatments can be repeated every six months or as needed to maintain the results.

  *Patients with more mature dry skin will need 3 or more treatments for the results they desire
